I presently have two of these Cables Unlimited premium HDMI cables in my Audio/H.T. system. One connects my Philips CD/DVD player to the 1080p TV..the other for the HD cable box. Both worked fine on first hookup, and have continued to do so after having been disconnected and reconnected in the course of routing them through cable concealment conduit. Construction and assembly quality is up anything I've seen for as high as $79. They're fully shielded and well jacketed, have gold-plated contacts and molded strain relieved plugs (in 'Gateway Cow' black and white). The digital audio/video signal quality and bandwidth (Ver. 1.3) is exactly the same as the 'big bucks' Monster cable.

To put it simply, they're excellent! As far as I can tell, the only difference between these and the $79 cable is $65. That's more than half the price of a WDTV Live Media Player, so I'm going to reward myself with one for being a clever shopper. Good thing the TV has 3 HDMI inputs; I guess I'm going to need another one of these cables!

I paid $2.99+tax at Frys electronics for this (sorry Amazon), In order to test up my new 24" Samsung Syncmaster LCD with a full 1080p native resolution. my decision was based on price alone. When I opened the package I was suprised by the look,feel and apparent quality of the cable. I own many other cheap (all under $5 HDMI cables and this one looks and feels much more expensive. Plugged it in and it worked exactly as I expected it to; the TMDS coded algorithm made it from my motherboard to my monitor no problem, which means; same exact picture as I would get from a 20-100$ cable.

The only reason this manufacturer loses a star is because of the outrageous claims on the packaging that any 15 year old should be able to see as invalid. Example *enables increased contrast ratio, *eliminates on screen color banding, (here is the best) *lets HDTVs display colors more accurately.

The cable is great but it wont work any better than any other HDMI cable even one from the dollar store.

It has great picture and sound.. we have had it for about 4 months w/ no problems and it is on way more than it should be(she can only sleep at night with a tv on).. looks bigger than it states that it actually is. I certainly love the fun pink color, but there are a couple of important pieces missing. Nothing major, just the power cable and the remote control. Since it is a monitor, I am using my computer monitor cord. The quality does give a decent picture and hook up did not take long, but I am hoping I do not have to repack the entire screen and send it back just to get the missing pieces.

I'd buy one of these again, and would recommend it to a friend. It's about as simple to install as it could possibly be. Very solid quality of all the parts, including the screws and bolts. Very good instructions, and everything needed was included. It was as straight-forward and easy to install as mounting a TV on your wall could possibly be. The two vertical arms bolt onto the back of the TV. Evidently there is a standard for placing bolt holes on the back of flat panel TVs so one can attach a mount. Bolts of every common size are included. Then you screw the mounting bracket onto the wall, making sure that the screws go into studs. You should have a stud-finder for this; they are inexpensive. Good sized, quality, hex-head lag screws are included for the wall mounting, as well as concrete anchors, in case you have a concrete wall. After the arms are on the TV and the bracket is on the wall, you lift up the TV and hook it on, like hanging a picture on the wall. Once the TV is hanging, you tighten the two lock screws so it can't be lifted off again unless you loosen them. There were no frustrations, no "gotcha's", no cursing the company that made it. One nice surprise was that there is a built-in bubble level on the mounting bracket. That's a thoughtful extra that shows the manufacturer has a "what else can we do to make this better" attitude.

I ordered this back in June to use with my HDTV and Blu-ray player. The first cabel we ordered did not work, which I know happens and Amazon was quick to ship another one out. Once we got the new cabel, we plugged it in to the HDTV and Blu-ray player and got an amazing picture. It make a differance if you have a gold plated ends vs non-gold plated, you can tell the differance if you pay attention to details. I presently have two of these Cables Unlimited premium HDMI cables in my Audio/H.T. system. One connects my Philips CD/DVD player to the 1080p TV..the other for the HD cable box. Both worked fine on first hookup, and have continued to do so after having been disconnected and reconnected in the course of routing them through cable concealment conduit. Construction and assembly quality is up anything I've seen for as high as $79. They're fully shielded and well jacketed, have gold-plated contacts and molded strain relieved plugs (in 'Gateway Cow' black and white). The digital audio/video signal quality and bandwidth (Ver. 1.3) is exactly the same as the 'big bucks' Monster cable.

To put it simply, they're excellent! As far as I can tell, the only difference between these and the $79 cable is $65. That's more than half the price of a WDTV Live Media Player, so I'm going to reward myself with one for being a clever shopper. Good thing the TV has 3 HDMI inputs; I guess I'm going to need another one of these cables!

Are these the best cables you can get? no, but they're good quality for passing the HD channels to my TV and they were rugged enough to be passed through the wall. I wished I had read some of the reviews before I bought this. I have a 23 inch flat screen, weight 17.4lbs. Mounting to the wall was easy, however when I attached the flat screen, it sags and I'm unable to raise the screen at a straight angle. You aren't shown the entire picture on the web, however right behind the 4 piece piece prong you attach to your monitor, it has something like a ball and socket joint which enables you to tilt the monitor. There is a screw at the top of the joint which you tighten/lose to change the angle of the monitor. This ball and socket piece is the weakness in the part. Because of the weight of my monitor, no matter how much I tighten the screw, the monitor still sags. I bought this because it looked really nice and the price was great. If I ship this back, when it's all said and done, with all the fees, it wouldn't be worth it. Spend the money the first time people:)

Aparently the design of the mount allows for no item which has weight. Regardless of the tightening, the TV will sag and drop downward. The seller requires a 15% restocking fee, no return of shipping fees, and buyer must return item at his own expense. This is a bad deal any way you look at it. I was able to return the item for an "upgrade" for $ 15 and free shipping. However, the new mount was rusty, the holes did not match my TV, and the screws were too short. I made no effort to pursue this purchase further. Why continue to throw good money after bad?

"Cheap but problematic" 2008-01-13

This is ok for permanent position but not great if you want to move it often. Also, we could not adjust the front tilt angle part, until we took it apart and removed one of the washers. With 2 washers it is impossible to tighten the knob. Every time you move the screen, the front knob needs to be readjusted, and it is difficult. Maybe the ones for double or triple this price have better joints and controls.

Generally this product serves it's purpose well, especially for the money. It was relatively easy to install but I recommend an "assistant". A second pair of hands would have been helpful.

My only complaint is the the heads of the screws are VERY SOFT. They got pretty chewed up screwing them into the wall when installing and if I ever move it, I will probably need a pair of vise grips to grab the heads and unscrew them.

This mount is perfect, the price was great, and the seller Classical Media & Fitness was excellent for customer service and speedy shipping. We have a 19" monitor on this. The arm installed easily-10 minutes from start to finish. I'd highly recommend this item to anyone looking for this type of product!

Check your TV's owner's manual for mounting guidelines. You'll see the word "VESA" followed by numbers, which tells you how far apart the holes on the bracket or TV are in millimeters. For example, VESA 200x100 means that the holes are in a rectangle, with two sides measuring 100mm (about 4 inch) and two sides measuring 200mm (about 8 inch). You should be able to find that information in the owner's manual, or you can measure the holes yourself . If the vertical distance is within 18" inch, horizontal distance within 28" inch, then this mount will fit.

"Good Bang For Your Buck" 2009-10-30

This antenna works very well. It is way better than the RCA digital flat antenna I purchased and returned to Walmart. I can get twice as many channels (crystal clear f.y.i.) with this antenna compared to the RCA. If your looking for a great antenna, look no further. I highly recommend this product.

I've tested a lot of indoor antennas and I have to say that this ClearStream model is outstanding. Their smallest indoor model pulls in as many or more than the ones you plug in or are larger. It advertises 25 miles but some of the channels are definitely further... I'm actually shocked because it is so compact as used without the outdoor gear that it comes with.

I just installed this in my summer place in Union Pier, MI and it pulls in both South Bend channels and most of the Chicago ones. (the lower frequency channel 2 is an exception).

Before taking it out there, I also tested it in my Chicago house and it performed as well or better than the much larger plug-in HDTV Radio Shack antenna and the large bulky Antenna Direct one that probably is best outdoors I have hidden away in my closet.

This antenna helps us get all of the channels on the digital spectrum. We are 15 miles away and are able to get almost all the channels at full strength.

"Good but needs better high-band VHF reception" 2009-06-19

This thing picked up 40 channels the night I set it up (compared to 25-30 channels I got with the amplified GE Quantum 3-panel with VHF mast). I also used a ClearStream4 at a remote cabin that had all poor edge signals and it picked up most of the channels with no amplification, so I believe these are superior UHF antennas.

However, it appears the ClearStream antennas do not pick up high-band VHF very well... it also doesn't help that the FCC mandates minuscule power levels for high-band digital VHF stations now (post-transition), but I have this thing aimed at the tower, line of sight, 12.5 miles away, and still have very poor reception of the VHF channels in Seattle (KCTS 9, KSTW 11, KCPQ 13).

KCTS is 21.7 kW, KSTW is 12.5 kW, KCPQ is 30 kW. KCTS cuts in and out, KSTW doesn't come in at all, and KCPQ (nearest to UHF) comes in just adequately enough to not drop out.

A lot of people have spent a lot of money on HDTV antennas and most of them are UHF only or UHF plus a tacked-on high-band VHF stick as an afterthought, but some stations decided to move to VHF and submit to the mandatory power cut anyway, so the viewers are left out in the cold unless they subscribe to cable or buy a really high-end VHF roof antenna. It seems these stations' only reason to continue broadcasting is so the cable companies can tune the station for rebroadcasting over cable. Too bad satellite TV subscribers (using OTA) and straight OTA viewers.

Anyway, when the literature for the ClearStream antennas said a few months ago that their antennas were optimized for "the whole post 2009 DTV spectrum", they are now quietly changing it to say "across the whole post 2009 UHF DTV spectrum", "powerful across the core UHF DTV spectrum", or "additional capability on higher level VHF frequencies", though they still do say "Designed for reception on high VHF (Ch 7-13) and core UHF (ch 14-51)"... well maybe if the high-band VHF stations broadcast at 800+ kW like most of the UHF stations instead of the tiny [almost-pirate-radio] 10-30 kW that the FCC limits them to.

My advice: If you have VHF DTV stations in your area that are hard to receive, the ClearStream antennas won't pull them in (but they will pull in even very weak UHF). Instead get a really big VHF roof antenna and a signal combiner to go along with a good UHF roof antenna like this one... or just give up the VHF stations because they surely don't care about you.

I was able to use this indoors in the basement! The price here was about half of what it is in local stores. Verry satified and would recommend. I had places to hide its appearance from view. It is not great to look at.
